These are scale plastic model sets that require assembly and painting. They do not contain paints and glues unless otherwise stated.
This machine, which is considered the ancestor of the modern helicopter, appears in a drawing dated roughly 1480 contained in the Codex Atlanticus. Leonardo outlines the plan for an €œaerial screw€ imagining it as a worm screw with a diameter of approximately 5metres, in his intentions, it should have €œscrewed itself€ in air taking advantage of its density. Moved by the muscle strength of four men walking on the central platform, it consisted of a wooden structure covered with starched linen cloth. Since there is no proof that Leonardo actually built the machine he imagined, it remains one of his many theoretical insights.
