A true classic by just about every measure, teh Fairchild F-24 was built in the 1930s and 1940s as an economical and easy to fly touring aircraft. It became the plane of choice for Hollywood starts before the US entered World War II, when Fairchild's production line was diverted to the military. Produced with two different engine types, the F-24R had a Ranger inline engine and the F-24W - the subject of Black Horse's ARTF - had the Warner 'Super Scarab' 7-cylinder radial engine and distinctive cowl.

Black Horse have managed to capture the spirit of the original with this all laser-cut wood constructed model. Supplied expertly assembled, the Fairchild has a wingspan of 2357mm (almost 93") making it idea for petrol engines in the popular 30-35cc class, however it is equally suited to electric power with a 2300-3200W brushless motor, 80-160A ESC and 12S LiPo batteries.

A two piece wing make transport and storage simple and rigging at the field is straightforward and quick.

Supplied factory built and covered with Oracover with a large, pre-painted fibreglass cowl and spats. Requires your choice of powerplant plus 6 channel radio with a minimum of 8 servos.
