These are plastic model sets that require assembly and painting. They do not contain paints and glues unless otherwise stated.

The European truck manufacturers carry only very few conventional (long-hood) trucks in their roster because of legal length limitations for tractor-trailer units. The new conventional, built by Scania, is therefore mainly used for extra-heavy tasks and construction work. Due to the fact that the engine is mounted in front of the driver's cabin, the T-143 features a spacious driving compartment and has a lower noise level than the «R» type.


The engine and cockpit are identical to the Streamline version. In Australia this version is used successfully for the so called Road Trains, which carry up to three trailers with an overall length of 43 m. The extended wheelbase (4,2 m) improves the truck's driving comfort.
