Description
The T-70 Soviet light tank was developed in the USSR and put into production in 1942 as the successor for the T-60. It was manufactured in large numbers with over 8,000 vehicles being built. The T-70 was armed with a 45-mm L/46 gun Model with forty-five rounds carried, and a coaxial 7.62-mm DT machine gun. The tank was operated by a crew of two; a driver and a commander who loaded and fired the gun. The T-70 remained in service with the Red Army throughout the whole of World War II.
