Fighting for Little Warriors: Meet Finley’s Touch
At Fields of Glory Models, we’re all about detail, precision, and building something meaningful—brick by brick, piece by piece. But every now and then, something comes along that hits you right in the feels and reminds you that the most important things we build are connections.
That’s why we’re incredibly proud to support Finley’s Touch—a charity doing incredible work for children fighting the toughest battles of their young lives.
So, who is Finley?
Finley was a brave, bright little lad who sadly passed away from neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. His strength, cheeky smile, and huge heart inspired everyone around him. After his passing, his amazing family set up Finley’s Touch to honour his memory—and to help other families facing similar unimaginable challenges.
They fundraise to provide vital support to children with cancer and their families across the UK—things like emergency financial assistance, little treats to lift spirits during hospital stays, or helping create moments of normality during the most difficult of times.
Why do we support Finley’s Touch?
Because life isn’t just about models and miniatures. It’s about real heroes—like Finley. And real causes—like giving comfort, joy, and dignity to families during their darkest moments.
We’re a small business with a big heart—and a very personal reason for giving back. Our journey into supporting children’s health charities began after our own son was treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), a place we still visit regularly. Their care was nothing short of extraordinary, and it lit a fire in us to help other families facing similar battles.
When we first discovered Finley’s Touch, their mission struck a deep chord. Their story, their heart, and their commitment to helping children with cancer felt like a perfect fit—and so our journey together began.
So now we give our customers a chance to ‘round up’ their orders with a tip (think of it as digital spare change) that goes directly to the charity. It may seem small, but every little bit adds up to something powerful.
