Have a question?
These are plastic model sets that require assembly and painting. They do not contain paints and glues unless otherwise stated.
Dragon has been gradually rolling out a new series of 1/72 scale plastic kits featuring Neo tracks. The Sturmgeschütz III (StuG.III) family is the latest recipient of these convenient Neo tracks, with the StuG.III Ausf.B the newest beneficiary. Armed with a short-barreled 7.5cm StuK.37 gun of L/24 caliber, the 20.2-ton assault gun was widely used by Sturmartillerie batteries in campaigns such as the Balkans and in the invasion of Russia. A total of 320 Ausf.Bs were built by Alkett from June 1940 through till May 1941. As already mentioned, Dragon’s 1/72 scale StuG.III series now includes Neo tracks that feature pre-molded lengths of tracks to make life easier for the modeler, as well as individual links that allow appropriate sagging effects. The rendering of battle damage can even be achieved. Furthermore, the plastic material on Neo tracks is the same as that used elsewhere on the injection-molded kit, to make painting and finishing easier. Furthermore, the road wheels, return rollers, idler wheels and sprockets are all individual parts. With the incorporation of Neo tracks, this StuG.III B has been elevated to a whole new level!
