Land Rover Legend
Loved by millions across the world for its superb 4WD performance and distincive functional form, the Land Rover Defender had a long production run from 1948 until 2016. This R/C model assembly kit recreates the short wheelbase Defender 90 variant, with the unmistakeable form captured by a polycarbonate body featuring front and rear light cases which are compatible with separately sold LEDs. Separate molded parts are included to depict features such as the outer roll cage, front grille and spare tire cover. The CC-01 chassis is a great base, providing a sure-footed drive whether on-road or off; it is paired with matte plated wheels and treaded tires.

 


?The inimitable form of the Defender 90 is recreated by a lightweight polycarbonate body, with separate molded parts.
?Molded parts include the detailed front grille, which can be paired with separately sold headlight LEDs for even more realism!
?Depictions of the boxy side mirrors even have detailed stay sections. Mirror surfaces are recreated using stickers.

 

?Left: Tough polycarbonate-ABS components are used to create the outer roll bar, a big part of the model's off-road look.

?Right: The kit includes 6-spoke wheels given a matte metal-plated finish, paired with treaded tires for super performance.

 

?Left: Spare tire cover depiction is also molded in polycarbonate-ABS, and the DEFENDER logo is achieved with included sticker.

?Right: Taillight colors are eaily recreated using stickers. Like the headlights, they can be lit up with separately sold LEDs.

 

The All-Terrain CC-01 Chassis
The CC-01's highly reliable and efficient full-time 4WD system features a longitudinally-positioned motor, which transmits power to the front wheels via the gearbox and to the rear wheels via propeller shaft with universal joints. Front and rear differentials enable smooth cornering, and for even greater off-road performance on rough terrain, the rear differential may be locked during assembly. The chassis suspension employs double-wishbone front upper single links and lower H-shaped arms plus rear rigid suspension. With CVA oil dampers front and rear, there's enough cushion to take on even the roughest surfaces.
